Jaime Dexter

Born in Liverpool, Nova Scotia, Jaime attended NSCAD University with the intention of studying painting, but found herself spending her time in ceramics and art history. In 2021 she discovered punch needle rug hooking and a new passion was born.

Jaime’s inspiration comes from the nature around her, and beautiful moments in her life. Her work is a contemporary take on a traditional craft, taking the hand-hooked rug into the realm of fine art.
