Step into the Wild Challenge - Day 24

Day 24 - Grounding…

Take a trip back to Day 4 when we talked about stepping out into your day being conscious/mindful of what was out your front door… breathing in the air, being aware of what’s around you...

Today when you step outside, take a full minute to stand on the ground (maybe beside your favourite tree ) and take a couple of deep breaths… Relax your shoulders, neck, hands, stomach, face, butt, legs, knees etc as you continue to breath. Once you’re feeling relaxed, take a moment and feel like your feet are sending roots down into the earth, like a tree.

Continue to breathe deeply. Notice any feelings of strength and connection that you are experiencing with the ground below you. Now, send those same feelings back into the ground – it will become a reciprocal process. You will start to feel the flow back and forth - sharing your connection with the earth and it sharing it’s connection with you…. Try it… it’s very cool…

If you’re not feeling it the first time, keep trying once a day for a week – it will start to happen. Then, when spring/summer comes and you take your shoes off and put your bare feet on the ground… just wait... 😉
